Quality & Responsibility

What we stand for

Freshness, quality and trust: these are the core values that guide our actions. As your reliable partner for meat imports, we prioritise the highest standards and close collaboration to provide you with first-class products and service.

Sustainability

We are actively committed to promoting sustainability in the meat industry by encouraging the use of resource-saving methods, reducing the carbon footprint, and upholding high standards of animal husbandry. Through innovation and support for local farmers, we aim to reduce our carbon footprint while providing high-quality products.

Resources

As our planet's resources are limited, our aim is to minimise losses during production. This applies to raw materials, finished food, packaging, and operating materials. We use targeted analyses to identify and reduce avoidable losses sustainably.

Animal Welfare

We place the highest value on adhering to strict animal husbandry standards. Our guidelines ensure that animals are kept in a manner that is appropriate to their species. Regular inspections guarantee that these standards are consistently implemented, ensuring the welfare of the animals and the quality of the end product.

Supply Chains

We are committed to respecting human rights and have implemented clearly defined due diligence obligations to this end. We implement solutions to safeguard human rights within our supply chains, such as social audits and sustainability assessments at our sites. From 2025, we will report on this publicly.

Packaging

Effective packaging is crucial for ensuring the safety and extending the shelf life of our products. Our principle is to use as much as is necessary and as little as is possible. By 2025, at least 50% of our packaging must be recyclable. This target should apply to all of our companies' packaging by 2030.

Biodiversity

A functioning environment is based on diverse ecosystems and a high level of biodiversity. Human intervention changes the living conditions of numerous animals and plants. Our goals: Purchasing certified raw materials, deforestation-free supply chains and reforestation projects.
